A cataract is the clouding of the eye's lens that blurs vision, and it's the leading cause of avoidable blindness in Malaysia. The good news: it's reversible. Modern cataract surgery (phacoemulsification) replaces the cloudy lens with an implant (IOL), usually a day-care procedure with no overnight stay. Assessed & performed by our Eye Specialists.

Apabila penglihatan kabur mula mengganggu kerja, membaca, memandu (terutama waktu malam) atau aktiviti harian. Katarak yang dibiarkan terlalu lama (matang) menjadikan pembedahan lebih kompleks, pemeriksaan awal lebih baik.
