Pemberian rawatan kecemasan TIDAK akan ditangguhkan atas asbab pembayaran deposit. Hospital Pakar An-Nur mematuhi Seksyen 38 Akta Kemudahan dan Perkhidmatan Jagaan Kesihatan Swasta 1998 (Akta 586). Urusan deposit boleh dilaksanakan dalam tempoh 24 jam selepas pesakit stabil.

Emergency treatment will NOT be delayed due to deposit payment. An-Nur complies with Section 38 of the Private Healthcare Facilities and Services Act 1998 (Act 586). Deposit can be settled within 24 hours after the patient is stabilised.

The RM 300 deposit is a temporary security to cover items that may not be fully covered by your GL — such as ward telephone, additional caregiver meals, personal items, room rate differences (if upgraded), co-pay/co-insurance, or service tax.

This deposit is not an additional charge to your hospital bill — it is deducted from the final bill, and the balance is fully refunded. This is standard practice across all Malaysian private hospitals.

Sekiranya deposit melebihi amaun yang perlu anda tanggung selepas GL diluluskan:

  • Pembayaran tunai: baki dipulangkan serta-merta semasa discaj.
  • Pembayaran kad kredit/debit: baki dipulangkan dalam tempoh 7 hari bekerja melalui kaedah pembayaran asal anda.

Resit rasmi dan rekod sistem hospital disediakan sebagai bukti audit. Anda akan menerima notifikasi SMS/WhatsApp apabila refund diproses.

If your deposit exceeds the amount you must bear after GL approval:

  • Cash payment: balance refunded instantly upon discharge.
  • Credit/debit card: balance refunded within 7 working days via your original payment method.

Official receipt and hospital system record provided as audit trail. You'll receive SMS/WhatsApp notification when refund is processed.

Two completely different things:

  • RM 300 deposit is collected by the hospital and REFUNDED if unused.
  • Co-takaful, co-pay or deductible (e.g., RM 300 minimum under BNM scheme effective 1 September 2024) is set by your insurance/takaful policy and NOT REFUNDED as it's the portion you've agreed to bear yourself.

The hospital only collects co-takaful payments on behalf of your insurer based on policy terms.

Kelewatan GL (lebih 24 jam): Hospital mungkin meminta deposit tambahan untuk menampung kos rawatan sementara menunggu pengesahan. Jumlah ditentukan oleh Pasukan Kawalan Kredit berdasarkan anggaran kos.

GL ditolak sepenuhnya: Anda akan diberi:

  • Penjelasan terperinci sebab penolakan
  • Pilihan pembayaran tunai dengan ansuran (jika layak)
  • Bantuan pasukan Khidmat Pelanggan untuk rayuan kepada syarikat insurans

Discaj sebelum GL akhir diterima: Anda boleh discaj selepas selesai bayar anggaran caj atau deposit tambahan. Lebihan akan dipulangkan apabila GL akhir diterima.

GL delay (over 24 hours): The hospital may request an additional deposit to cover treatment costs pending confirmation. Amount determined by Credit Control team based on cost estimates.

GL fully rejected: You will receive:

  • Detailed explanation of rejection reasons
  • Cash payment options with installments (if eligible)
  • Customer Service team assistance for appeal to insurance company
  • Access to financial assistance plans (zakat/wakaf) for qualifying cases

Discharge before final GL received: You may be discharged after settling estimated charges or providing additional deposit. Excess refunded once final GL is received.
